Right now I'm feeling a little overwhelmed, like I might have chosen a topic that's a little bit beyond me. I think part of the problem is that there aren't a lot of experts that I know of in Minnesota for French plants. I might have been better off just making a model out of Popsicle sticks. Of course, that would make it a lot harder to tie my project to "Environments," and I like my AoI. I might have to scale it back from multiple plants to one or two.

So I'm incredibly frustrated. I've tried using multiple materials to make my lavender work as a building material, and nothing is working the way I want to. Again, I have to go back to something I've been thinking about since my last entry--maybe I was a little overly ambitious in my project. But then, I've always sort of been that way in school. I'm always the kid who doesn't just do the work, but spends four hours on what's supposed to be a half-hour assignment. On the plus side, I usually get all As. I wonder, though, if it would be better for me in the long run to be more balanced. I spend so much time overdoing it on all my schoolwork that I don't "have time" to do any extracurriculars. Maybe I should mellow out on homework and MAKE time to join some. It certainly would help when I'm applying to colleges!
